30th Annual International Conference on Science and Technology Indicators

Join us in Antwerp, Belgium, in September 2026 for the 30th Annual STI-ENID Conference, themed “Indicators for a Responsible Research Future”. This international conference brings together leading experts, researchers, and policymakers to explore how science, technology, and innovation (STI) indicators can advance responsible research and innovation (RRI). Key topics will include diversity, inclusivity, openness, and sustainability in research assessment and policy. Participants will discuss how STI indicators can align with societal values, long-term goals, and the challenges of an uncertain future. The event will also examine how indicators reflect changing patterns of collaboration, competition, and knowledge exchange, and how they can promote equitable global cooperation amid increasing geopolitical tensions. We are happy to welcome the STI-ENID community to Antwerp for this landmark edition of the conference. The STI-ENID 2026 Conference is hosted by ECOOM teams from KU Leuven, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), and University of Antwerp.
